The staircase of horseshoe was built in 1550 by Philibert Delorme, was remade between 1632 and 1634 by Jean Androuet du Cerceau.
A subscription is underway for a new restoration, the structure being shaken.These balusters have been subject of a restoration attempt which allows to appreciate his fineness.
