Description

Work of Paul Dubois, in 1886, the equestrian statue of Anne de Montmorency, represents him as Constable of France . The sword he carries straight up, is the sword of the King, attribute oh his dignity, in charge of the armies and protector of the Kingdom of France in the absence of the King.
