Summary
[edit]DescriptionCeyhan Zübeyde Hanım monument 5434.jpg |
English: A monument for the mother of Atatürk. Trying to find more information on the web I found it was attacked on the 13th of January 2020, a day before she'd died 97 years earlierː "The bust of Zübeyde Hanım in Adana's Ceyhan district Cumhuriyet Square was destroyed by unidentified people the previous day. The letters on the bust were partially removed to create insulting words." (translated from Haberler.com news site).
The monument would be repaired. |
