There are several species of spotted chafers in this genus in Southern Africa. The adults feed on flowers & sometimes fruit. This might be Cyrtothyrea marginalis, but in this picture the lateral stripe an the prothorax looks a bit too yellow rather than red.
The wasp happened to be on the same flowering head. It might be the male of a spider hunting species.
