Description

c/n 21666 Built as an O-1A for the USAF with the serial 51-4781. Rebuilt as an O-1G and delivered to Japan under a mutual aid program. Initially operated by the National Safety Force as 14781, it was later transferred to the Japanese Ground Self-Defence Force as 11017. It eventually returned to the USA where it flew with the Civil Air Patrol as N5074G. Sold to the UK in 2017, it is registered as G-VNAM and operated by Southern Sailplanes. Seen on static display at the 2022 Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire, UK
