| Description |
Português: Sudeste do Cerro Guaiquinima, cerca de 250 km ao S de Ciudad Bolivar, na Guiana Venezuelana. Linhas brancas são as faces de precipícios iluminadas pelo sol, linhas pretas grossas são sombras dos precipícios do lado não iluminado. A linha branca mais grossa, entre nuvens no lado esq. da imagem, é um rio com muitas corredeiras e cachoeiras. No topo de alguns tepuis, monte em formato de mesa, em rosa claro, afloramentos rochosos da formação Roraima e savanas secas e pantanosas, característica da zona ecológica do pantepui. Outros tepuis na imagem tem floresta tropical em seu topo, semelhante à região do entorno, em verde escuro. Nuvens em branco e suas sombras em preto / Guaiquinima Tepuy complex SE, about 150 miles S of Ciudad Bolívar, on the Venezuelan Guyana. White lines are sun iluminated cliff faces, thick black lines are mesa shadows on valley below. Thickest white line, between clouds at image left side, is a river with many rapids and waterfalls. At some tepuys top, in light pink, rocky outcrops, from Roraima formation, and pantepui ecozone characteristic swampy and dry savannas. Other tepuys at this image are covered by tropical rainforest, same as in low areas, appearing in dark green. Clouds in white and its shadows in black.
