La Policía Nacional realizó la Ceremonia de Ascenso del personal de Mandos Ejecutivos y Nivel Básico de nuestra Institución. El evento tuvo lugar en las diferentes Escuelas de Policía de cada jurisdicción correspondiente y presidido por los Comandantes de región, Metropolitana y Departamentos de Policía.

La ceremonia central fue presidida por el Señor Ministro de Defensa Juan Carlos Pinzón y nuestro Director el General Óscar Naranjo Trujillo, en la Escuela Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada, ascendiendo 1.538 uniformados de la Institución.

Con este evento se hace efectivo el Plan Nacional de Desarrollo, del Ministerio de Defensa y el Director General Óscar Naranjo Trujillo, facilitando la promoción de 30 mil efectivos del Nivel Ejecutivo a grados superiores que en esta oportunidad fueron 4.119 en todo el país.

De ellos, 111 son Patrulleros que ascienden al grado de Subintendentes, 2.658 que reciben como Intendentes, 579 llegan al grado de Intendentes Jefes y 683 a la instancia de Subcomisario.
