Deutsch: Vorderseite: GREGORIVS XVI - PONT MAX AN I. Büste des Papstes Gregor XVI. in der Mozetta mit Kappe (Pileolus) und Stola nach links. Unten die Signatur NIC CERBERA FE.
Rückseite: PRIMVS AB ARTE SVA - NOBIS - CAELESTIA PINXIT // RAFAELAE SANZIO INV E DIP / NICCOLA CERBERA SCOL. Die Sixtinische Madonna nach Raffael. Kommentar: Gregor XVI., geboren am 8. September 1765 als Bartolomeo Alberto Cappellari, gestorben am 1. Juni 1846 in Rom, wurde am 2. Februar 1831 zum Papst gewählt. - Siehe für Raffael hier auch Objektnummer 18232497. - Die Rückseite zeigt Raphaels berühmtes Gemälde, die „Sixtinische Madonna“ von 1512/1513, welche sich seit 1754 in Dresden befindet (jetzt Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister Gal.-Nr. 93, ab 1754 in der Dresdner Gemäldegalerie im ehemaligen Stallhof am Neumarkt, seit 1855 im Semperbau ausgestellt, 1945 von der Roten Armee geraubt und 1956 nach Dresden zurückgegeben). Ursprünglich wurde das Gemälde im Auftrag von Papst Julius II. für den Hochaltar der Klosterkirche San Sisto in Piacenza geschaffen.
