English: In 1999 opened the Museum Casa-Alfar name in the troglodytic complex of his hometown. The set of facilities, originally dependent on the Cabildo de Gran Canaria through the FEDAC (Foundation for ethnography and the development of the Canarian handicrafts), is managed locally by the ALUD (Association of artisans of the traditional pottery of La Atalaya de Santa Brígida). In addition to the conservation of the Ecomuseum "Panchito Casa-Alfar", the Centre annex locero has a number of educational and documentary as well as a permanent workshop and a Museum (thematic Hall) in which ancient specimens can be seen and new services of the typical locera dishes: bernegales, braziers, fogueros, ganigos, burners, jugs for gofio, sahumadores, tinajas for nuts, roasters for grain, etc. Español: En 1999 se inauguró el Museo Casa-Alfar "Panchito" en el complejo troglodita de su barrio natal. El conjunto de instalaciones, originalmente dependientes del Cabildo de Gran Canaria a través de la FEDAC (Fundación para la Etnografía y el Desarrollo de la Artesanía Canaria), está gestionado localmente por la ALUD (agrupación de artesanos de la loza tradicional de La Atalaya de Santa Brígida). Además de la consevación del ecomuseo "Casa-Alfar Panchito", el centro locero anexo dispone de una serie de servicios didácticos y documentales además de un taller permanente y un museo (sala temática) en la que pueden contemplarse ejemplares antiguos y nuevos de la típica vajilla locera: bernegales, braseros, fogueros, gánigos, hornillas, jarras para gofio, sahumadores, tinajas para frutos secos, tostadores para el grano, etc. |
