Centrifuges at physical science area

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A centrifuge is a piece of equipment that is commonly found in scientific laboratories. Centrifuges use centrifugal force to separate substances of different densities. They work by spinning a sample at high speed, causing the denser particles to move to the bottom of the container, while the less dense particles remain at the top. Centrifuges can be used for a variety of purposes, such as separating blood components or isolating DNA. There are many different types of centrifuges, ranging from small tabletop models to large floor-standing models.
