English: Built between 1803 and 1806, this Classical Revival-style church was built to serve the Moravian community in Bethlehem, which settled in the area during the mid-18th Century. The building features a simple stucco-clad exterior with six-over-six and casement windows, front and rear gables with fanlight windows at the tops of the gable ends, double entry doors on the side facades of the end wings of the building and on the front facade of the basement of the wing facing Main Street, and large twelve-over-twelve windows framed by decorative trim in the five central bays of the side facades of the building. The building also features central rooftop bell tower with multiple tiers shaped as a square, octagon, and circle, with the square portion having a rooftop deck with a decorative balustrade, clock faces and doors on the octagonal portion, and an open colonnade on the circular portion with doric columns, a bell in the center, and a roof with an architrave featuring triglyphs, and a domed roof above with a metal finial and weather vane above. The building is a contributing structure in the Central Bethlehem Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and expanded to include additional buildings in 1988, and is a contributing structure in the Historic Moravian Bethlehem District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and as a National Historic Landmark in 2012.
