| Description |
English: Cefn Croes wind farm At the time of commissioning in 2005 this was the largest, in power terms, wind farm in the UK, and utilised the largest turbines, 39 in number. Each generates up to 1.5MW and the tip of the rotor blades reach up to 100 metres above the ground. In operation the rotor tip travels at speeds typically around 250mph.
