Description
Français : Dans ce peuplier blanc (Populus alba) abattu lors d’une tempête, le bois dur (duramen), au centre de nombreuses branches, avait été remplacé par des cavités aux dimensions importantes en raison de l’âge de l’arbre. Sur les sections d’autres branches, on peut constater des effilochements du bois dur, cela aurait conduit à la formation de creux. Aytré (la Plage, La Lizotière), Charente-Maritime, France.
