English: Cross for Service in the Caucasus, in silver. Instituted in August 2001 by the Minister of Defense. Awarded to soldiers, sailors, sergeants and petty officers, performing military service in the North Caucasus Military District, for initiative and diligence shown in the performance of official duties, as well as taking part in counter terrorism operations in the North Caucasus region of the Russian Federation.
Русский: Знак отличия «За службу на Кавказе» военнослужащих Северо-Кавказского военного округа. Знак для солдат, матросов, сержантов и старшин. Учрежден приказом Министерства обороны РФ № 367 от 17.08.2001 г. Знаком отличия награждаются военнослужащие, проходящие военную службу на территории Северо-Кавказского военного округа, за усердие. инициативу и старание, проявленные при исполнении должностных обязанностей, а также принимавшие участие в контртеррористических операциях на территории Северо-Кавказского региона Российской Федерации.
Français : Croix “pour Service dans le Caucase" en argent. Instituée le 17 août 2001 par l’arrêté ministériel 367. Décernée aux soldats, matelots, sergents et premiers-maîtres effectuant leur service militaire dans le district militaire du Caucase du Nord, pour initiative et diligence dans l'exercice de leurs fonctions officielles, ainsi que pour avoir prit part aux opérations de lutte contre le terrorisme dans la région du Caucase du Nord de la Fédération Russe. |
