| Description |
English: Cattle, Brackhill This would have once been a common sight, a Hereford bull amongst Friesian cows, but the price of the "black Hereford" offspring is not usually as high as what other crosses will fetch. Now Limousin, Charolais and Simmental bulls are preferred. Herefords, probably once Ireland's commonest breed of cattle are now making a comeback.
Low lying North Kerry is ideal dairy country. |
