| Description |
English: 11 ft pinnacle from All Saints church, now Wakefield cathedral, removed during repairs in the 1860s, and is currently exhibited in the Art Gallery grounds. Ref. 1191552
Sir George Gilbert Scott, worked on the cathedral between 1857 and 1874. His involvement included re-casing the tower in 1859 and rebuilding the spire in 1860. This was followed by major external repairs, and finally the nave was completed in 1874. Ref 1075648 |
