Description

The current church on the site, situated at the south end of Seton Park, was first built between 1350 and 1520.

Various additions over the years have been made. Including a central tower constructed by Bishop Elphinstone, the founder of the University of Aberdeen.

Sadly, the central tower collapsed in 1688.

This cathedral is a such a welcoming place to visit - if you're in Aberdeen, you should drop in.
