Description
English: The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi of Santa Fe, New Mexico, commonly known as St. Francis Cathedral, was built in 1869. It is a beautiful example of the Romanesque Revival style of architecture. It is the mother church of the Catholic archdiocese of Santa Fe. It is part of the Santa Fe Historic District in Santa Fe Plaza, and the Plaza has its own National Register of Historic Places designation.
