The pierced openings of the cover are deco-rated with wheat-ears in flat gilding, and the body of thevase has a gilt decoration of flowers and peacocks feathers,framing cartels in which are painted Birds in Landscapes. Fan-shaped Flower Stand (Jardiniere en JEventail) of apple-green Sevres porcelain, elaborately enriched with gild-ing, and decorated with cartels, of which the central oneshows a Shepherd and Shepherdess in the Boucher Style.
