Laheo neumanni.Type (P. Z.S. 1903). f III 11-12, a little nearer end of snout than caudal, its upper edgeconcave, longest ray as long as or slightly longer than head. AnalIII 5, reaching or nearly reaching root of caudal. Pectoral as longas or a little longer than head, not quite reaching ventral, the firstray of which falls below 4th or 5th branched ray of dorsal. Caudaldeeply emarginate, crescentic when fully spread out. Caudal peduncle11 to 1-g- times as long as deep. Scales 89-40 gr^) 6 between lateralline and root of ventral, 16-18 round caudal peduncle.
