Attention is focused upon the lifeof man in the different parts of the world, the geographical conditionsthat make his life what it is, and the result of his activities as expressedin industry. The Physiology is a combination of physiology with personal andcommunity hygiene. The main subjects treated are: Foods and digestion; fermented liquors; patent medicines; milk andmilk supply; water and water supply; the respiratory system and tu-berculosis ; tobacco; the respiratory system and exercise; the eyes andears, and their care; contagious diseases and their prevention; disinfec-tion; emergencies and how to meet them; the nervous system and itscare. Singing—Three periods of singing a week give opportunity for bothchorus work and instruction in reading music. In every exercise, right habits of work and thought are sought; andthe same care is exercised in securing them during the supervised studyperiods.
