LILIES. These varieties of Lilies are perhaps the most popular grown, being very easily cultivated. They comnaence flowering in June, and keep up a continuous succession of bloom until late in the fall. Their rich varieties of color and stately habit render them very suitable for outdoor planting. They are perfectly hardy, and should be planted in October or Novem- ber. Auratuna (The Golden Lily of Japan) Delicate, white, thickly studded with crimson spots, and through the centre of each petal is a bright gold band ; large and fragrant; extra strong bulbs.
