Tout ii fait en avant, un chien blanc flaire auprès dun beau bassinquadrilatéral, décoré de chimères et de guirlandes, où des aiguièressont à rafraîchir. Un dogue ronge un os. Un singe est assis sur latraîne dune dame. Divers instruments de musique sont épars surle dallage du péristyle. Œuvre très remarquable de lartiste. Certaines parties du tableau, lhomme en rouge notamment, sont peintes avec une énergie de brosse qui relève de la solide manière de Franz Hais, le frère de Dirk. Haut., 72 cent.; lai-g., 90 cent. HALS (Attribué à FRANS) 24 — Portrait dhomme. Personnage à longue chevelure, moustache et barbiche, coiffédun feutre à grands bords et vêtu dun pourpoint brun sur lequelse rabat un col garni de dentelle. Buste, de trois quarts. Esquisse.
