Sirène de face, accroupie, avec diadème et double tresse surchaque épaule. Entre la queue et la lamelle de base est unelarge entaille où sencastrait un long tenon. Tête archaïque,allongée. — Cf. Longpérier, 414. Caylus, III, pl. 14, 1-2. Surune lampe, Naples, 72198 (archaïque).. Vert foncé. 918 (37). — Prov. incon. — H., 4,6. Larg., 5,5. Sirène coiffée du polos, le buste nu, les ailes éployées, émer-geant dun calice porté par une griffe. — Pied de vase ou demeuble. 919 (426). — Prov. incon. — H., 6,2. L., 4,2. Ep., 0,7. — Cf. lemême motif à Kertch (C. R., 1877, pl. 3, 4, p. 221) et sur uneanse de VAcropole (J. H. S., 1892-3, p. 237, fig. 6)... FIGURINES FÉMININES. 171 FIGURINES ET APPLIQUES DIVERSES. 920 (455). — Atalante (Hagios Constantinos).— H., 13,8. Base :13,3 sur 6,5. — B, C. iJ., 1880, pl. 2, 192-3 (Pottier). Femme penchée à gauche, sahandonnant au bras qui la serreà la taille. Le chiton, agrafé sur lépaule gauche, laisse le seindroit à découvert, se plaque sur le ventre et tombe en plis, for-mant au groupe une base circulaire. Tête affaissée sur lépauledroite, les cheveux librement traités et relevés par un bandeau,les yeux incrustés dargent. Beau travail du quatrième siècle. Vert bleuâtre. 921 (456). — Atalante (id.). — H., 14,6. — Les bras cassés. Femme debout, vêtue par-dessus le chiton dun voile posé surla tête et qui retombe en bas du corps. Figure assez fine, trèsabîmée. Style du troisième siècle. Vert bleuâtre. 922 (47). — Béotie. — H., 5,7. D. de base, 2,1. Semblable, informe, les bras pendants et la main droite surla hanche, un grand himation sur lépaule gauche.
