Luncheon will be served at the school daily at the noon in-termission at moderate prices. The Edward Russ Hall The late Edward Russ bequeathed a substantial sum ofmoney to the State Board of Education for the use of the NewJersey State Normal School at Montclair. This bequest hasbeen used in the erection of a dormitory known as the EdwardRuss Hall, which was opened for boarding pupils September16, 1915. The building is fireproof throughout and is designed in theSpanish Mission style, with white stucco exterior walls and redSpanish tile roof, to conform in character to the presentNormal School building. The dormitory accommodates 96 students, there being 52single rooms and 22 double rooms. Each floor is provided withample bath and toilet room facilities, and at each end of thehall, conveniently located, are two enclosed fireproof stairs

State Normal School at Montclair 19 extending from the top floor to the ground and giving ampleexits. The main floor is particularly well planned for the socialrequirements of a school. The Living Room at one end isthirty-three feet wide and forty feet long, having at one enda Reading Room, thirteen feet by thirty-two feet. This iselevated a few steps above the general level of the LivingRoom and can be used as a stage for giving amateur plays.On one side of the Living Room is a large open fireplace, whichadds much to the attractiveness of the room. At the other end of the building is the large Dining Room,accommodating no persons. This is finished in old ivorytints and has an attractive fireplace at one side of the room. The Kitchen and serving rooms are up-to-date in everyrespect. They are arranged with a view to the best sanitaryrequirements and every convenience of a large Kitchen hasbeen installed. On the first floor is located the Matrons suite, which con-tains a living-room and
