This Horse Hoe has a great many advantages over the old "Planet Jr.," or any other similar tool. It has been remod- eled and is now much stronger, simpler and better; wrought iron has been discarded and its place taken by steel; the mal- leable, improved in design and strength. The Hollow Steel Standards have been remodeled to increase their strength and usefulness, and the plates are now made with the patent sleeve,preventing the possibility of the bolts drawing through. The tools are all made after the most perfect models, and are: First, a pair of admirable hoes which can be set to work to and from the row, and to any desired depth. Each tool is sent out with a pair of rakes, a pair of hoes, a pair of 14-inch sweeps, pair of cultivator teeth and a pair of plows. The wheels are adjust- able in height, and the arch is also high enough to enable the opera- tor to woi'k both sides of the row at once until plants are over 18 inches _ high; then the wheels can be set to run close to- gether and the tool used between the rows. Leaf guards (detach- ble) go with each machine, to be used when plants extend in- to a wide row.
