For a late n)i<l season yellow it will have no rival. Strong, thrifty plants: each, 15 cents. MRS. PERIIIN. Best described as a rose-pink ivory. The brifibtest shade of pink introduced. Height, 34 feet. Stiff stem and foliage close up to flower. A good ke.^per. MRS. J. T. ANTHONY (New). Of all early pink varieties this is the most suitable for all purposes. It is a beauti- ful rosy pink shaded with delicate silvery pink. If wpII grown It is eight inches in diameter. As a specimen pot plant it has hardly an equal, being of short-jointed bushy growth. October 10th to 15th. MRS. JKROME JONES. One of the latest sorts, color deli- cate creamy white, sometimes tinged with light pink. Petals very broad, gracefully incurved. Very lasting after being cut. r)eceniber 1st to 10th. MRS. S. T. MURDOCH. The purest and brightest self pink up to date: large size, fine form and of good snbstnnc*; foliage and stem perfect, will be one of the leaders in pink varieties for years to come. This variety received t^rst premium over all competitors. Especially under gas or artificial light, It shows up simply grand. Nov. 10th to 20th. MRS. GEO. WEST. Magnificent, bold flower of greatest size, color richest deep rose purple. A real Japanese bloom. Healthy, vigorous grower and one of the most popular varieties. MUTT'AL FRIEND. Pure white, flat flowers of the largest dimensions. NIVEUS. A grand, snow-white, standard variety, of consid- erabk? popularity, center irregularly Incurving, outer petals standincT out straight. A fine, free grower and splendid keeper. Midseason, tall. NEMESIS (Daybreak). Very early, light shade of pink, n fine, bold, well-built flower, with straight, broad petals, of very neat and dwarf habits, thus making it espe;.'Ially adapted for specimen pot plants. NYANZA. A seedling from Geo. W. Childs, possessing the same brilliancy of color. The strongest in growth of this elnss. Midseason, PENDENNIS (Nanz & Neuner). Certificate National Ch-ys- anthemum Society of America at Chicago. Pure chaste white of large size and elegant shape, incurved In its earlier stages, refiexed when fully mature. Late, com- ing with Mrs. Jerome Jones but a much larger and fuller flower than the latter. Foliage well up to flower. 20 cents each. Pink Ivory. PINK IVORY. A beautiful" pink sport from white Ivory. Identical in other respects. PRAIRIE ROSE. Delicate light pink, full very large bloom, late, stout, healthy grower, fine In every way. PHILADELPHIA. The sensational variety of the season. Color a creamy white, shaded light yellow in the depthi. Petals incurving, twisted and hooked at the ends, differ- ent from any other chrysanthemums. Received flrst- class certificate wherever shown. Comes in early and lasts past midseason. RADIANCE. Second early variety, of deep yellow color, full, deep flower of great beauty and substance; hand- some, large foliage up to the flower, and good stem. ROGER WILLIAMS. Rare, little known sort, one of the most beautiful and free growing, crimson, orange re- verse. One of the best of its color. SILVER CLOUD. Enormous, plumy, full double flower, white, toward center suffused with delicate salmon. Al- ways attracts attention. SURPRISE. Deep crimson, broad, slightly Incurved, extra large size. Makes magnificent specimen pot plant; ought to be in every collection. SWl-JET MARIE. Early, full, double flowers of largest size. Petals broad and spreading, color white v ith deli- cate .eraon centT. As a specimen pot plant or cut flower it can h:\rdly be beaten; healthy and easy grower. TKE TfMES. A very large, bold flower, that lakes at first sight, of deep pink at base, shading ofC to silvery pink ft the tips. Shows off beautifully by artificial licht. Stem stiff and foliage dark green, glossy and well up to flower. A healthv free grower, never going blind. Height. 3Vo to 41/2 feet. November 1st io Sth. THE QUEEN. Grandest of all white sorts; nothing sur- passes ttie elegance of Its form nor th.' chaste whiteness of Its color. A healthy, free grower. No collection com- plete without it. VIVIAND MOREL. One of the most well-known varie- ties. Immense reflex flower of exquisite pink shading. A very changeable flower in regard to color, even under the same cultural conditions; it is subject to changes from ver.v deep rosy-pink to a faint blush pink. VINETA. Large, incurved flower, style of Mrs. Geo. West, mor<^ even in color, being a deep wine color throughout. A striking flower in any collection. Good stem and foli- age. For exhibition or commercial use. Midseason.
