The Golden Gate Collection of fifteen beautiful roses in 2^ inch pots for $1.00. Large plants in 4 inch pots (per ex- press only,) $3.60 for the col- lection. GOLDEN GrNTE. A rose of rare beauty, strong, healthy growth and great freedom of bloom. The tlowers are extra large and finely formed, -with bruad peials of lasting substance; buds long and pointed. Color of creamy white, delicately tinged with golden yellow and rose. PAPA GONTIER. A magnificent red Tea. It is a strong grower, with fine healthy foliage; the buds are large and long, with thick, broad petals of dark carmine crimson <*olor, charging to a lighter shade, in the open flower. An excellent winter blooming variety, and- one of the best for outdoor planting, opening up its flowers in beau liful shape. AMERICAN BEAUTY. A truthful description of this rose would sound like exaggeration. It grows as vigorousny as a Hybrid Perpetual, and blooms as freely as the Hy- brid Teas, while the flowers are of great size, boldly car- ried and most deliciously fragrant; rich, high rose color. Globular, hardy. METi;OR. A rich, dark velvety crimson ever-blooming rose, as fine in color as the best of Perpetuals; the flowers are of good size, very double and perfect in shape, either as buds or when fully opened; the plant is vigorous and reiiKirkabiy free flov.ering, splendid for pot-culture, and the best of the Hybrid Teas as a bedding variety for sura- jner cut flowers, as it retains its color even in the "hot- test weather. CORNELIA COOK. Beautiful creamy white, buds of im mense size and very double; does not open well at all times, which is its weak point, but when well grown it is a magnificent flower. PERLE DKS JARDINS. This magnificent rose still retains its position as The finest rose of its color. The color varies from canary to golden yellow, flowers large and beautifully formed; handsome in every stage of develop- ment, from the smallest bud to the open bloom. The color, whether light or deep, always has a peculiar soft- ness not observed in any otlier yellow rose. Very full and highly perfumed. It is the favorite yellow rose. MAD. IIOSTE. A beautiful free flowering Tea rose, with extra large flowers and superb buds, very full and highly fragrant. A strong grower, and buds can always be cut with long stems. In cool weather the color is ivory white; in summer a bright canary with amber center. HERMOSA (Bourbon). Always In bloom and always beauti- ful. The flower is cupped, finely formed and full; color most pleasing shade of pink; very fragrant. A favorite with every one. BRIDESMAID. Color, a bright, clear pink; a lovely shade; flowers very large, perfectly double. The buds are large hnd solid with long stiff stems and handsome glossy fo- liage. It has all the good qualities of a first-class win- ter blooming rose, a strong healthy growth, free from disease: is easily grown anl produces very freely buds of the largest size of a color that can be used to advant- age on ali occasions. It is also an excellent bedding va- riety for outside flowering in summer.

Mad. Hoste. THE BRIDE The most popular white rose for winter flow- eriiig. The flowers are very large and double, on long stifl! sten'S, of fine texture and substance, and last a long time In a fresh state after being cut, niaking it one of the best varieties for corsage wear or bouquets. During extreme hot w eather it becomes a pinkish white, at other times a beautiful pure white. MARECHAL NEIL. Beautiful deep yellow; very large, full, irlobular form; sweet scented, fre'e flowering; one of the flnest yellow tea scented roses yet introduced. A good vilimblng rose. GF.NETiAL JACQUEMINOT. So well known that It hardly needs a description. It is a bright shining crimson, very rich and velvety, exceedingly brilliant. MAD. ETIENNE. Makes elegant buds and the flowers are extra large, very full and deliciously sweet; color bright, rosy pink, passing to dear rose, brightened with pink^ elegantly shaded and very beautiful. It Is a strong, heal- thy grower and a wonderfully free and constant bloomer. 15 cents each. MADAME DE WATTEVILLE. This grand everblooming rose is one of the most beautiful varieties we have ever s(-nt out, and is very largely pl&nted by those who know its beauty. The color is a remarkable shade of creamy yellow, richly colored with rosy blush. The petals are large and each one widely bordered with bright crimson, which gives it a very striking and beautiful appearance. Tl e l!ow( rs are large, very full and highly perfumed. This is the tulip rose, so called because of the feathery shading of bright rose around the edge of every petal, the body of the petal being creamy white and of heavy texture. LA FIiAN»:E. Delicate silvery rose, shaded with cerise pink, often silvery pink with peach shading. Very large, very dou')le and of superb form. It flowers continually throughout the season. None can surpass the delicacy of Its (oloiing; in fragrance incomparable; In form perfect. The swoelP-st of all roses.
