Text Appearing Before Image:
FOOT OF GRAND STREET, TROY, N. Y. 79 Syracuse High Frame Spring Tooth Wheel Harrow, Spring Seat The new Syracuse Wheel Spring Tooth Harrow, which is shown in the above cut, without the seat attachment, has the following meritorious features : 1stâA frame of channel steel carried at such height from the ground on high wheels as absolutely to prevent loading. 2dâAdjustable Spring Steel Teeth of im- proved shape, which while having good suction, â do not accumulate trash. PRICE, 17 TEETH, $19.00. and Caster Front Wheels furnished when ordered.
Text Appearing After Image:
3dâBroad-faced Steel Wheels with dirt proof bearings, and so made that by the removal of two bolts, new hubs with removable boxes can be quickly substituted. The wheels are so placed that there are no wheel tracks. 4thâThe entire weight of the driver, together with nearly all that of the harrow, is carried on the wheels which greatly reduces draft. The frame works independent of the wheel axle, which is hinged in the centre and so allows the harrow to conform to uneven ground. 5thâCaster Steel Shoes adjustable to depth, placed in front, which move always in the line of draft, steady the running of the harrow and also prevent it from working down- ward when used on side hill or rolling land. The harrow is quickly and easily turned at corners without buckling, making it unequalled for transportation or use in the field. 6thâMore or less weight can be carried on the front shoes by raising or lowering the draft clevis. 7thâThe Levers are within easy reach of the driver, and the harrow can be dumped with the freedom of a horse rake without dragging the load. Syracuse Spring Tooth Harrow* WITH LEVERS. PRICE, 17 TEETH, $17.00. Frame, tooth bearing bars and teeth are steel. The frame runs on steel shoes, which can be renewed at small expense. All castings malleable. Most con- venient for clearing and turning about or transporting from place to place.
