Type C TankShowing combined Overflow and Drain Pipe and Angles which carry Suction Strainer The Drain consists of a brass flange soldered to bottom oftank, without any obstruction in tank, allowing; tank to becompletely drained for cleaning. _ The Overflow consists of a length of pipe of the properheight which is screwed into the brass flange of the drain con-nection. This pipe is removed when it is desired to drain thetank. ^ A rod which serves as a wrench is provided for itsoperation. Water Supply: A % inch flanged pipe connection inside of casing is provided for the fresh air connection. On theinside of the casing is a duplicate flange and a H inch floatvalve which maintains a constant water level. Flanges are also provided on the outside of the casing forsuction and discharge pipe to be run to the circulating pump.This supply and suction piping is not furnished with thewasher. 46 Carrier Air Conditioning Company of America
