Summary
[edit]DescriptionCatalan siege tower 1.2. Montsoriu Castle.jpg |
English: Siege tower prototype designed by the strategist of James I the Conqueror. It was never used. Bull skins would have protected the tower to prevent fires. These machine would have been transported near the walls using pulleys and ropes. To overcome any moats, the attackers would need to fill the moat or place rails for the tower. Model exhibited at the Montsoriu Castle. |
