Description
English: A domestic cat (felis silvestris catus) observing a young blue tit (parus caeruleus; same individual as in Parus caeruleus fledgling.jpg). Such fledgling birds are ideal prey for many small predators, including cats; in this case, prompt demise of the bird was only prevented by the fact that the cat was held back on a leash.
Français : Chat domestique (felis silvestris catus) observant une jeune mésange bleue (parus caeruleus ; même individu que dans Parus caeruleus fledgling.jpg). Ces oiseaux naissants sont des proies idéales pour de nombreux petits prédateurs, dont les chats. Dans ce cas, la mort rapide de l'oiseau n'a été empêchée que par le fait que le chat était tenu en laisse.
