Description The view from from one of two WWII machine gun posts built into the Casuarina cliffs near the present stairs. This was the gunner's view looking out over Casuarina Beach towards Dripstone Caves. These two wartime relics were filled with cement in the 1980s as they were thought to be a danger to the public.This photograph is a frame from a super 8 film taken in late 1976.
