English: Memorial for the dead of the Erechteid Tribe. Pentelic marble, ca. 460–459 BC, found in Athens in 1674. The inscription reads: “Of the Erechteid Tribe, died at war in Cyprus, in Phoenicia, at Halieis, at Egina, at Megara, the same year.’ Follows a list of 170 dead, among which two strategoi (generals) and a soothsayer. Found in Athens in 1674.
Español: Monumento a los caídos de la tribu Erecteida. Mármol del Pentélico, circa 460–459 a.C., encontrado en Atenas en 1674. Texto de la inscripción: «De la tribu Erecteida, muertos en la guerra en Chipre, en Fenicia, en Halieis, en Egina, en Megara, durante el mismo año.» Sigue una lista de 170 muertos, entre los que se cuentan dos estrategos y un adivino.
