| Description |
English: Castles of Munster: Lissamota, Limerick This four storey tower in a farmyard north of Ballingarry still has its original wall-walk and parapet. The de Lacys were dispossessed of the castle in 1588 when it was granted to the Billingsleys, who in turn lost it in 1599 when it was recaptured by its former owners. |
