| Description |
English: Castles of Munster: Ardmayle, Tipperary East of the Suir, and opposite a medieval church still in use, is one of two castle remains at Ardmayle, this one being a 40 foot high Butler tower house.
In the next grid square to the west is the north wall of what remains of a four storey stronghouse down by the river. Unfortunately it was not accessible at the time I visited. |
