It is quite possible that it may nothave been above reproach. Here, a couple of centuries later, anotherVictor-Amadee married the Princesse Henri-ette, Duchesse dOrleans. The bride to be hadnever met her future husband until they cametogether at a little village near-by, as she wasjourneying to the Savoy
