| Description |
English: Castlefreke Village Post Office & Grocery The building may once have formed part of the estate that once surrounded Castlefreke, a former gothic mansion and ancestral seat of the Lords of Carbery. It too has the same gothic architectural style that certainly suggests it. To the right housed in a green shed, is an interesting museum with exhibits reflecting the close ties the village of Castlefreke (Rath an Bharraigh) once had with the Lords of Carbery and the Castlefreke estate. |
