English: The junction at Castle Cary, 1984. View eastward, towards Castle Cary station, Westbury and London etc.: ex-GWR Paddington/Bristol etc. - Westbury - Taunton - Exeter etc. main line, junction of the line to Weymouth (by now singled), on the right. The signalbox visible is Castle Cary West Box, rebuilt after a successful German low-level air raid here in September 1942. |
