Description
Nederlands: Tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog (1914-1918) stond op deze plaats een noodkerk welke tevens dienst deed voor de jeugd van Castelré. De Duitse bezetters hadden de grens tussen Nederland en België gesloten door het plaatsen van elektrische draad (2000 Volt). Dit om te voorkomen dat Belgische mannen zich via het neutrale Nederland bij de geallieerden konden aansluiten. Nochtans zijn meerdere mensen dodelijk verongelukt door "den ellektrieken draad". Dit monumentje werd in 1936 opgericht.
