| Description | O castelo de Arraiolos, tem como período aceite para a sua construção, o reinado de D. Dinis, por volta de 1310, sendo doado a D. Nuno Álvares Pereira, em 1387, que também recebeu o título de Conde de Arraiolos. No reinado de D, João IV, em plena época da Restauração da Independência, o castelo foi remodelado, mas algumas décadas depois estava ao abandono e o terramoto de 1755, completou a ruína que já apresentava. Depois de em 1910, ser classificado como Monumento Nacional, foram executadas obras de recuperação, a cargo da Direcção-Geral dos Edifícios e Monumentos Nacionais.
