Description
English: Sign on the southeast corner of Front Street and Blackwater Lane for "Castaways on the River" in Astor, Florida. Castaways on the River is a combination mobile home park/lodging area/boat rental dealership that tries to present itself as a "Family Fishing Center." What I was originally looking for was the site of the Castaways Restaurant, which was originally across the river in the Astor Bridge Marina in Volusia County, but has since moved much further west of the river onto Florida State Road 40 almost into Astor Park, Florida.
