Title
Cast iron agricultural tool, probably a billhook of uncertain date.
Description
English: Cast iron agricultural tool, probably a billhook of uncertain date. The object has a long rectangular-sectioned handle and a wide curved hook. The end of the hook is rounded. The object is covered in an orange-brown corrosion which obscures any details. Billhooks were used from the Bronze Age to the present day with little change to the form of the object. It is therefore very difficult to date however the corrosion indicates that it is pre 1700s.
