Title |
Cast copper alloy thimble of Medieval date. |
||
Description |
English: Cast copper alloy thimble of Medieval date. It is a domed thimble. The dots on the side run vertically in straight lines in an irregular fashon. The dots vary in size. A single line is etched around the base. The sides have been squashed inwards. The base has been damaged and areas of the base are missing. Where the thimble has been squashed the side has split half way up the body of the thimble. |
