English: Cast copper alloy single looped D-shaped buckle of medieval date. A small amount of the buckle plate remains as does the pin. The buckle plate is 13.02mm in length. The frame of the buckle has a notched lip. The strap bar is offset and narrowed. The object can be dated to c.1350-1450. |
