Description
English: Cast copper alloy double loop annular buckle dating to c. 1350-1650. The object consists of a circular frame with a notch for the pin. The strap bar is recessed. The pin is missing. It has a light green patina and traces of gilding can be seen on the upper surface. The buckle has been bent slightly. A similar example is fig. 436, p87, Griffiths, Philpott and Egan (2007).
