Cast copper alloy buckle fragment dating to the Post-Medieval period, (1500-1700). |
||
Description |
English: Cast copper alloy buckle fragment dating to the Post-Medieval period, (1500-1700). It is a fragment of a rectangular or sub-rectangular buckle. The upper surface has moulded decoration in the form of raised pellets and moulded ridges. The object is quite corroded and probably dates from 1600-1700.
Similar buckles can be found on p79 Whitehead, (2003). |
