Cast copper alloy brooch probably dating to the late Iron Age.
Description
English: Cast copper alloy possible brooch probably dating to the late Iron Age. It consists of a circular center, which is D-shaped in section, and arms which protrude at either end. The central circular area of teh bow has five circles of raised beaded decoration. At the top and bottom of the brooch there are protruding cross terminals of equal length which have a rounded section. The remains of two rivets can be seen on at each end of the reverse. It has a dark, blackish patina.
