Description
English: Cast copper alloy brooch fragment dating to the Roman period, (45-410AD). The fragment consists of the lower leg, catchplate and foot of the brooch. The leg of the brooch is decorated with a vertical groove running down each side. The foot is flat and has two horizontal grooves decorating it. The catchplate is complete. Due to the fragmentary nature of this object, the type of brooch can not be identified.
