Cast clay pipe dating to the Post-Medieval period.
Description
English: Cast clay pipe dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object consists of the bowl of a clay pipe and a fragment of the stem. The mouth of the bowl is decorated with an incised line. There is a small round spur at the base of the bowl. The internal diameter of the bowl is 12.50mm. The stem has an internal diameter of 2.65mm and an external diameter of 10.90mm. The spur is 5.80mm in diameter. The object conforms to Crummy Type 5 and can be dated to the 17th century.
